Roles

An online surveyor is responsible for acquiring, monitoring and processing accurate positioning data (vessel & sensors) during his/her shift (watch) or real time survey data. Surveyor shall assist the Party Chief / Senior Surveyor to ensure that positioning data and calibrations are acquired and processed in line procedures and to specifications given in the scope of work, and that all results are concisely documented using the relevant forms. The Surveyor will inform Party Chief / Senior of any required revisions to currentforms and procedures which may arise.

  Responsiblities

• Operate and monitor survey equipment (EIVA NaviPac, Qinsy, USBL systems)
• Collect and validate real-time data from ROVs, vessels, and subsea sensors
• Assist in vessel mobilization and demobilization
• Maintain survey logs, calibration records, and equipment inventories
• Collaborate with Party Chief and engineering teams to ensure data integrity
• Report anomalies and contribute to troubleshooting and workflow optimization

 Qualifications & Skills

• Degree or diploma in Geomatics, Hydrography, Geophysics, or related field
• Offshore certifications: BOSIET, HUET, Offshore Medical
• Experience with survey software (e.g., EIVA, QINSy, Hypack)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in high-pressure, multicultural environments
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
